Marble Falls football season tickets, Gold Cards available

As the Marble Falls High School fall athletes begin official preparations for their 2026 seasons, the Mustangs and Lady Mustangs invite fans to make plans to have the best seats in their venues.

Football season ticket renewals are happening Aug. 3-14 and fans also have the option of buying a season parking pass for $45. Fans can order online thanks to the ticket link in the email from the athletic department.

If fans choose to pay in person at the athletic department’s field house, they must do so during specific times on specific days, which is included in the email.

Remaining season tickets will go on sale to the public Aug. 17.

There’s plenty to be excited about. The football team has five home games beginning with Lockhart to open the regular season Aug. 28 followed by Little River Academy Sept. 4, Austin Liberal Arts and Science Academy Sept. 18, Burnet Oct. 16 in the District 12-4A Division I home opener, and defending state champion Stephenville Nov. 6 to finish the regular season.

“I think anytime the kids feel support, that’s just a different level,” athletic director and head coach Keri Timmerman said. “Having your fans there and your kids feeling your band going on a Friday night, there’s a level of energy that you can’t create outside of that. In practice, we try to be loud, we try to get after them a little bit because we want them to feel that pressure. And then Friday nights, the fans help create that for us. I don’t think you can ever negate how important that is for your program.”

The school district also is once again honoring their most loyal fans by giving away Gold Cards that gives free admission to any Marble Falls home game at the middle school and high school throughout the 2026-27 school year. Gold Cards are for individuals aged 65 and older.

Timmerman pointed out Gold Cards have been available “for awhile.”

“We have a lot of community members that have been here for a long time and have paid a lot of money to watch games,” he said. “You get to a certain point you want to say ‘thank you and we hope you still keep coming’ even though you’re on a fixed income or maybe you don’t go out as much as you used to. We want to encourage that because we just feel like they’re a big part of our fanbase. Our Gold Card is a great opportunity to welcome in a lot of our seniors.”

The volleyball team, which made program history by winning a bi-district championship and an area round match, returns nine lettermen in 2026 including middle blocker Amaris Mitchell-Ochoa, setter Hannah Welch and athlete Katie Terrell, who are seniors, and juniors Brighton Bernard and Breanna Wilde.

The cross country team hosts its annual Leo Manzano/Rick Edwards Invitational Sept. 27. In addition, as the school year unfolds, so do opportunities for more success. The Lady Mustangs basketball and Mustang baseball teams return plenty from squads that finished as the District 24-4A runners-up, and the boys soccer team, which reached the 2026 Class 4A Division I state semifinals and has won three of the last four district crowns, is looking to continue that success.
