No matter the uniform, MaeSyn Gay’s talent and abilities always shine brightly. Months after signing to play for Hardin-Simmons University’s women’s basketball team, the 2024 Burnet High School graduate was named to the All-Freshman Team of the American Southwest Conference. She played in 27 games where she averaged 14.3 minutes, 4 points and 6 rebounds per contest. The Faith Academy of Marble Falls boys basketball team went 1-2 during the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches Association Showcase June 20-22 in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The Flames beat Fort Worth Lake Country Christian and lost to Dallas First Baptist and Houston St. Thomas Episcopal. The Air-Time Elite girls basketball team finished as the runner-up at the Foreverland II tournament hosted by Premier Basketball June 17-18 in Mansfield.
