The Marble Falls High School baseball team stomped Lago Vista 11-1 April 14 to complete the District 24-4A series sweep, the Mustangs’ second this season. It also means Marble Falls earned a playoff berth, its first in more than a decade. “It’s good, obviously,” head coach Tyler Porter said. “It’s what you expect. The Burnet High School baseball team lost to Georgetown Gateway 7-3 April 12 in a game that was played a day later than scheduled because umpires were no-shows earlier in the week.
