The Burnet High School girls soccer team defeated Gonzales 4-0 in the second round of the Class 4A state playoffs March 28. That sets up a third-round match against Boerne High at 5:30 p.m. at Fischer Canyon Lake High School. Tickets sold online only. Note that Comal Independent School District has a clear bag policy. The Marble Falls High School boys soccer team defeated Uvalde 4-0 March 28 in the area round of the Class 4A playoffs. They face three-time defending state champion Boerne High in the regional quarterfinals with date, site and time still to be determined. The Burnet High School girls soccer team crushed Fischer Canyon Lake 5-1 March 24 for another bi-district championship. Next up is Gonzales at 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 28, at Hutto High School. Adults pay $6, while students pay $4. No cash is accepted.
