The University Interscholastic League announced final standings for the Lone Star Cup races in all classes, and Burnet High School finished No. 23 in Class 4A. Steve Golemon’s contributions to Texas high school sports are numerous, and organizations are making sure they aren’t quickly forgotten. Oklahoma freshman high jumper Kason O’Riley completed his first season as a Sooner by being one of 24 athletes to compete at the NCAA Division I outdoor track and field championships Friday, June 10.
