The Burnet High School baseball team split the two games with Jarrell, which were played March 29 and April 1. The Bulldogs (7-7-1, 4-3 District 19-4A) beat the Cougars (6-8-2, 2-5) 16-6 on March 29 but lost 2-1 on a walk-off sacrifice in the seventh inning April 1. The Bulldogs (6-4-1, 3-0 District 19-4A) lost their 5-3 lead headed into the seventh inning when the Eagles (7-5, 2-1) put three runs on the board for a 6-5 advantage.
