Burnet youth football invites teams to Battle of the Hills

Courtesy photo The first Battle of the Hills featuring area youth football teams is Saturday, Aug. 23, at the Burnet Middle School Stadium. Gates open at 7:30 a.m. Battle of the Hills, which is sponsored by Burnet Youth Football and Cheer, allows teams from Blanco, Boerne, Burnet, Fredericksburg, Lago Vista, Lampasas and Marble Falls to scrimmage one another before the season kicks off in a couple of weeks.
