Llano football wins district opener over Cole

The Llano High School football team overwhelmed San Antonio Cole 37-0 Sept. 22 in the District 13-3A Division I opener for both teams. The Yellow Jackets (3-2, 1-0) now focus their attention on a road trip to Luling (2-3, 0-1)at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 29. Llano seized control of the contest quickly, racing to a 14-0 advantage in the opening quarter that ballooned to 24-0 by the half.
