Wanting to give local volleyball athletes opportunities to play and improve but not wanting to travel far, Marble Falls High School head coach Kait Goertz decided to host weekly matches here. So she decided to reach out to the head coaches at surrounding schools, who accepted the invitation. Each Monday starting at 5 p.m. at Marble Falls Middle School, 1511 Pony Circle Drive, fans can watch their favorite players and teams in one location. The Burnet High School track and field team qualified numerous athletes in various events to the Class 4A Region III meet and some set new personal bests to get there. Bad weather April 12 forced the Burnet High School softball team to play in back-to-back contests April 13-14 where the Lady Dawgs got different results. After advancing to a regional tournament for the first time in the history of its program, several members of Burnet High School girls soccer team were selected for several individual awards by District 18-4A coaches.
