The Burnet High School baseball team illustrated almost every emotion known in sports in a 24-hour period. One night after losing to Salado 20-3 in a contest that ended after 5 1/2 innings April 13, the Bulldogs arrived at Bulldog Diamonds for the conclusion of a three-game series with the Eagles April 14. Miscues lead to Lady Dawgs’ first loss in district play

Good teams will take advantage of errors and miscues by opponents and romp to victory, which is what happened to the Burnet High School softball team in an 11-4 loss to Salado March 25. “That just wasn’t us,” head coach Hailey Wooten said. “That’s not the way we play. Salado’s a great softball team. We’re not going to beat them by making mistakes and errors. Bulldogs earn another come-from-behind district win

The Burnet High School baseball team found itself in familiar territory March 18 against Salado. The Bulldogs (6-4-1, 3-0 District 19-4A) lost their 5-3 lead headed into the seventh inning when the Eagles (7-5, 2-1) put three runs on the board for a 6-5 advantage.
