The Faith Academy of Marble Falls volleyball team went 3-2 at the Aggieland Tournament Sept. 5-6. The Lady Flames (15-5) defeated Longview East Texas Homeschool 25-18, 25-23, Latexo 25-18, 25-22 and a team out of Missouri 26-24, 27-29, 18-16 and lost to San Antonio Patriots Homeschool twice: 23-25, 22-25 and 20-25, 25-21, 10-15. The Burnet High School cross country program competed at the Cedar Park Invitational Sept. 6 where the Bulldogs and Lady Dawgs posted top three finishes in the varsity divisions. The Bulldogs won the meet with a cumulative time of 1 hour and 28.30.9 seconds and an average time of 17:42.2 per runner, while the Lady Dawgs were third overall with a cumulative time of 1:11.46.2 and an average time of 14:27.9 per runner.
