Llano High School girls coordinator and head basketball coach Todd Lange died May 4 after an eight-month battle with glioblastoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer. Wanting to give local volleyball athletes opportunities to play and improve but not wanting to travel far, Marble Falls High School head coach Kait Goertz decided to host weekly matches here. Needing a fundraiser and knowing the positive impact volleyball has on a community, Marble Falls High School volleyball head coach Kait Goertz organized a tournament that is pitting squads consisting of boys against each other. The tournament is at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 7, at Max Copeland Gym on the Marble Falls High School campus, 2101 Mustang Drive. Admission is $2.
