Marble Falls High School defensive coordinator Zane Bode is retiring from teaching and coaching. The Burnet High School softball team quickly dispatched of Lampasas on March 8, winning 9-0. The Burnet High School girls soccer team’s business-like approach resulted in another big road win March 8. The Marble Falls High School baseball team is displaying plenty of characteristics coaches want to see from athletes: spunk, belief, a never-die attitude, and a willingness to compete until the final out. Marble Falls High School offensive coordinator Heath Hohmann is the new athletics director and head football coach at Skidmore-Tynan High School in Skidmore, Texas. On the October weekend Burnet senior swimmer Ryan Behrens visited McMurry University and was offered a scholarship, he committed.
