Burnet swimming performs well at state

The Burnet High School swimming program is off to the races for the 2025-26 season. The Water Dawgs will host their annual Hoot-N-Holler Sprint Invitational at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, at the YMCA of the Highland Lakes. New swimming coach Connor McBurnett, who is a 2020 Burnet High School graduate, returned this summer to take over the program.
