Burnet baseball beats Lampasas to win first district series

The Burnet High School baseball team came from behind to beat Lampasas 3-2 April 4 in the second game of the three-game series in District 24-4A. “It didn’t go perfect by any shape,” head coach Russell Houston said. “It was a good night for the Bulldogs. The Marble Falls High School boys golf team is the District 24-4A runner-up now that the tournament finished April 3-4 to qualify for the Class 4A Region III tournament. The Mustang Gold team of Kolton Pannell, Coby Holley, Porter Vinson, Bode Moss and Ross Oelschleger shot a two-day total of 654.
