The Burnet High School baseball team defeated Fredericksburg 6-3 Feb. 19 in the season opener. The Bulldogs (1-0) scored a run in the first inning only to see the Billies plate two in their half of the inning. The Marble Falls High School baseball team begins the 2024 season at the Fredericksburg Eberle-Boeck Memorial Baseball Tournament Thursday-Saturday, Feb. 22-24.
